Steadee is operated by Žiga Djurovič. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Steadee.
If the app business structure changes in the future, this policy may be updated.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as user ID, email address, and optional name.
- Fitness data you authorize from Apple Health / HealthKit (for example: steps, active calories, exercise minutes, and workouts).
- Fitness provider connection status (for example Apple Health or Google Fit connection status).
- Purchase and payment records needed to run the service, including Joker purchases and weekly penalty charge records.
- Push notification device token and delivery logs.
- App configuration and usage records required for core features (for example goals, daily progress, streaks, disputes, and pending account actions).
- Timezone and scheduling data used to run daily and weekly app logic correctly.
How We Use Information
- Provide core app functionality and keep your account in sync.
- Compute progress, streaks, goal completion, penalties, and joker usage.
- Verify in-app purchases and process payment-related events.
- Send transactional and reminder notifications.
- Run safety, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and audit logging workflows.
- Communicate account notices and support responses.
Tracking and Advertising
We do not use Health data for advertising. We do not sell personal data and we do not use third-party ad tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Health Data (Apple Health / HealthKit)
Health data is read only after you grant permission on your device. You can revoke permissions at any time in system settings. We use Health data only to provide app functionality and not for advertising, marketing profiles, or sale to data brokers.
How We Share Information
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate Steadee, such as authentication providers, cloud/database infrastructure, payment processors, push notification providers, and customer communication providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Current providers may include Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Apple App Store / Google Play purchase systems, Firebase Cloud Messaging (push delivery), and Resend (email delivery).
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When accounts are deleted, associated records are deleted or de-identified according to our system requirements.
Your Choices
- You can access and update account settings in the app.
- You can disable push notifications in device settings.
- You can disconnect or revoke Health data permissions in device settings.
- You can request account deletion from within app settings.
- You can contact support to request access, correction, or deletion help.
Children
Steadee is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
International Processing
Depending on your location and our service providers, your information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are posted at this URL with a revised last updated date.
